When you first join The Balance Company you'll want to let people
know. This email is low key and a great way to let people know about
your new business.
First, take the Balance Survey from your site. When the results
arrive forward it to your friends with the message below. Make sure
you copy and paste the results into the email. In other words don't
make it an attachment. People are uncomfortable opening files that
arrive attached to an email even if it's from a friend.

Business Cards or Social
Networking Site
People are doing very well picking up cards around town and then sending
the email below to the people listed on the card. Many coffee shops,
alternative book stores and other places allow customers to leave cards
behind for others to pick up.
You simply collect cards while you're out running around and then send
the email below.
You will need to insert the type of business they have. For instance
if they were a dog walker the subject line would read, "Your dog walking
business"
If you are sending this to someone on MySpace or another site like it
simply change the the email to say the name of the site you found their on a
information form a business card to saying you saw their profile
