Getting
Started
Your business binder is the first thing you will
want to create.
If you don't have time to get a 3 ring binder make sure you have the Bodhi Presentation and
compensation plan printed out for your orientation call.
It's your business. You'll get
out of it what you put into it. The more you invest in getting properly started the
faster you'll be enjoying the benefits of having a successful home based business.
You will be able to run your entire business with
your binder. You can keep paper, business cards, business receipts and
everything you need to conduct business in one simple to reference place.
 Create a Bodhi Binder
Purchase a 3 ring binder.
You can get one at
any office supply store. Then place the following items in it.
1) Bodhi Presentation
Print out the Bodhi Presentation,
three hole punch it and place it in the binder. [Download]
2) Compensation Plan
Print out the compensation plan and keep it in your
notebook. You may want to laminate it as paper
versions tend to get used up quickly when handed back and forth over
lunches, dinners and in Portland over a great bottle wine. [Download]
3) Bodhi 4x4
Print out a few copies of the Bodhi 4x4. This
is what you fill out with new consultants so
you will need one on hand for each of your new consultant. This is 11 inches
by 17 inches so you may need to go to Kinko's to print it out. They
charge 16 cents a copy at Kinko's. [Download]
4) Enrollment Forms
Print out a few of the company enrollment forms and
keep them in your binder. Notice this form has Electronic Funds
Transfer as an option. [Download]
5) Marketing Materials
You may want to keep business cards, brochures
and a copy of your local business directory. You can get all these
items free.

Your First 3 Action Items
In your orientation we'll cover every one of the
items in your binder.
Before your orientation please make sure you
complete the following steps:
1) Complete the Quick Start
Make sure you watch the two movies in step one
of the Quick Start [Go
Now]
3) Take the
Balance Survey
Take the Balance Survey from your web site. This will allow
you to see how the Survey notifications work.

3) Answer these 3 Questions
Email your sponsor the answers to
the 3 questions below. Feel free to copy them in an email and answer the
there if that's easier.
- What would you go do right now if time or money where not an
issue. If you won the lottery what would you
go do? [Help]
- What are you willing to invest to make the answer to
the above question happen?
How much time do you have to devote to your business? What is your monthly
budget? Please be realistic.
- What
attracted you to The Balance Company and the Bodhi Group?
Email your answers to your
sponsor. They'll use them to prepare for your orientation call.
